After much training the inevitable has happened, the wheels have fallen off and I’ve got an injury. Things haven’t been right with my legs since the Watford Half, I’ve had a variety of small niggles but nothing that has stopped my running, riding or swimming. But that has all changed (in the week before an event), not sure what the problem is but it is knee (knee cap) related and was very sore on my run this evening. I think it might be related to the very old, worn out trainers I have been running in (new trainers have been ordered). A physio appointment is booked for Thursday, hopefully she will straighten me out and push me out the door feeling a new man.
