Another day, another bit of training done. I dragged my tired body out of the house early doors and headed out for a run. The plan was to run a few miles but at a fast pace, and so followed a 5 mile run at 6:40 miles per mile. I had some concerns about my knee given the discomfort I had been feeling recently, however it was fine and the run passed without incident.
At lunchtime I was invited for a swim with a colleague, 33 lengths (33 m pool) and another 1000m had passed beneath my stomach. I prefer the slightly longer pool as there are fewer turns.
