Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.

Not a good day at the office

Having not got much sleep on New Year’s Eve, basically for two reasons; staying up late celebrating the new year and being woken up early by my delightful daughter, plans were made to mark the first working day of 2013 with a early / cheeky long commute to work. However, the alarm clock failed to wake me up* and I got my first puncture of the year. Mission aborted…I should have realise it was going to be a challenging day.

Supposedly, bad things happen in threes, but it might actually be fours or fives. Number one, puncture. Number two, broke the water machine in the office, soaking trousers. Number three, got some malware, all day safe mode and scans to remove. Number four, broke pedestal drawers rendering them inoperable with meeting papers locked inside. Number five, car driver attempted to kill me on a roundabout riding home.

Hopefully this isn’t a sign of things to come in 2013!!

*I don’t have an alarm clock, we are usually rudely awoken by Abbott jr. at about 06:15.
